​​Featured Guest Speaker - General Richard B. Myers
Retired U.S. Air Force General Richard B. Myers, a native of Merriam, Kansas, was the 15th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, serving in this position from 2001-2005. In this capacity, he served as the principal advisor to the President, the Secretary of Defense and the National Security Council. By law, he was the nation’s highest-ranking military officer. 

After retiring as a four-star general, he has returned to his home state and alma mater to serve as the 14th Kansas State University President.
